Before Barış Manço's birth, let's talk about his grandparents. After Mehmet II's conquer of Istanbul, Mançozade Family moved to  Thessaloniki from Konya . Barış Manço was born in Istanbul on January 2nd, 1943 as Hakkı Manço and Rikkat Uyanık's second child with the full name; Tosun Yusuf Mehmet Barış Manço.
